We know first-hand that there is nothing more frustrating than losing plants you have cared for and spent tons of money on to gophers, voles & mice!!
After a wildfire ravaged our property in 2020, we found a silver lining by establishing a vineyard on the open slopes, but we never expected gophers would be our biggest problem! We started The Valley Owl after seeing the remarkable benefits in pest reduction in our vineyard when we installed our first owl box and watched a family of barn owls knock back our gopher problem in just one breading season. We’ve come to love and revere barn owls and we want to share their magic and the benefits of attracting them as guardians with our community.
The Valley Owl offers Custom Barn Owl Nest Boxes, made to order from our workshop in Carmel Valley, CA. We also offer Mounting Kits and box Installation Services throughout the Monterey Peninsula area and the greater Central Coast.
We are a small, but mighty team committed to promoting sustainable, eco-friendly solutions to pest management that don’t harm wildlife, We take pride in serving our community, building reciprocal relationships between humans and nature, and helping barn owls thrive.
